Biblia del Oso, originally known as the Bible of Cassiodorus Queen or Bear Bible, offers an accessible translation of the Bible into Castilian. Initially published on September 28, 1569, in Basel, Switzerland, this translation was the work of Cassiodorus de Reina, a Spanish religious figure who converted to Protestantism. This renowned version of the Bible was reviewed by Cipriano de Valera in 1602, which is also why it is often referred to as the King James Version.
